Just a couple pics from today... And a mission

Was on my way to Bloomsburg, PA today and saw these wind turbines.



I also took a picture of a painting I have in my living room.




Didn't do a whole lot other than that. I am in the beginning stages of organizing an overseas mission trip, please pray for me as there is alot to do and alot of challenges in planning an overseas trip, but it will all be worth it if everything goes right and we can have the oppurtunity to show the Word of God to people that may not otherwise hear the Truth in their lives.

Typical Sunday

It was definitely a typical Sunday around here today, got up the morning and went to church where we heard an amazing message, then I had a fantastic lunch with my parents and have spent most of the afternoon working on a couple personal projects. All in all, it's been a great day.

Changing Lanes

Ok, I was driving to a larger city about 45 minutes from where I live today so I could pick up something from my Mom's doctor for her, and apparently my car was completely invisible, or at least that's how I felt, since I was cut off not once, not twice, but three times in a matter of 15 minutes, ugh, anyway, I have a few shoots coming up that I'll be posting some select photos from, I hope you all have a great weekend.

Rest Stop

Yesterday while on the road I pulled over at a rest area on PA Rt. 15(future I-99), and while I wouldn't normally photograph a rest area along the highway, this one really caught my eye, it's constructed beautifully and has a gorgeous view.

Went on a short trip today...

Ok, so have you ever gotten out of bed and said to yourself, "self, you should go on a 400 mile drive today just so you can get some decent photos"...

Yeah, neither have I...

I took a number of photos today but I don't feel like uploading all of them on here, I'm sunburned pretty badly and really tired, please check out my Flickr.com page if you're interested in seeing more. Also note, I was playing around with camera settings today(have only had this camera for a little over a week) so most of the pictures are good, but not great, I'll post more later.

Tuscan Summer Stew

I cooked this for dinner a couple nights ago, it was absolutely delicious and so easy to make, recipe from Family Circle.

Nothing

The title says it all, I've done absolutely nothing today, the weather here was really hot and humid, I tried to go out and take some pics at the state park nearby, but I was way too miserable, so I just read some e-mails, checked up on some blogs, oh and I also took a short nap this afternoon HA!

New Beginnings

"New beginning" A phrase you hear people say all the time, well this really is mine, I used to work for a very large fortune 500 company, in a very mundane middle management position, the work was mind-numbing, the pay was horrible, and the environment was horrendous. Now my focus has shifted, I'm on a journey of personal and professional discovery. I've recently started my own photography business, and while it is new, small, and not very profitable, for the first time in my life I'm happy waking up in the morning and "going" to work.

I've been a Christian for many years, but it wasn't until recently that I started really taking it seriously, now my life is truly dedicated to glorifying God in all that I do, and yes, I will be blogging about my relationship with God, the good and bad, the triumphs and pitfalls, so if that makes you mad/upset/nervous, there's a small red box in the upper right-hand corner of your browser, you're more than welcome to click on it.
